Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is inspired to promote excellence in the arts and support programs that produce exceptional works that express P&WC's own values of creativity, innovation and sustainability.
Our arts & culture partners include:
Conseil des arts de Montréal
The Pratt & Whitney Canada Prizes of the Conseil des arts de Montréal reflect Pratt & Whitney Canada's interest in the visual arts. The Nature de l’art and Les Elles de l’art prizes, each including a scholarship of $5000, are presented once a year during the luncheon of the Grand Prix du Conseil des arts de Montréal. The new Nature de l’art Prize was created to highlight the work of an artist whose approach to the visual arts draws inspiration from the environment and ecology. This prize therefore makes reference to P&WC's green credentials, developing greener technologies and adopting more environmentally-friendly behaviour. The Les Elles de l’art Prize replaces the Les Femmeuses Pratt & Whitney Canada prize, and is intended to recognize the work of a professional female Montreal-based visual artist distinguished in the field of contemporary art.
