Pratt & Whitney Canada Employees Give Record $865,000
to Centraide of Greater Montreal

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 6, 2004) - Pratt & Whitney Canada
(P&WC) President Alain M. Bellemare has presented a cheque for $865,039
to Michele Thibodeau-DeGuire, President and Executive Director,
Centraide of Greater Montreal, representing the amount raised by company
employees and retirees during their recently completed campaign.

"This is the largest amount ever raised for Centraide and reflects the
incredible generosity of our employees," noted Mr. Bellemare during a
ceremony held at the St-Hubert facility on December 3. "Our Centraide
campaign surpassed its objective this year by nearly 15 per cent and is
up significantly from a total last year of $750,000. I am so proud of
our employees' efforts to help less fortunate members of our society."
The average donation made per P&WC employee this year was $231, the
highest amount to date.

P&WC's Centraide campaign, held at Quebec facilities Nov. 1 to 17,
featured a number of creative activities to raise money for this worthy
cause, including Spaghetti Day, a parking space draw and a weekend Grey
Cup holiday package. The bulk of the money was donated through payroll
deduction. "We are delighted by this year's result and want to thank all
our volunteers for working so hard to make it such a success," said
Louis Lemieux, director of this year's campaign. "Our tradition of being
one of the strongest supporters of Centraide lives on!"
