FREDERIC LEFEBVRE TO LEAD REGIONAL AIRLINE MARKETING, PRATT & WHITNEY CANADA
Seasoned Executives Confirmed in Strategic Auxiliary Power Units and Customer Service Organizations
Frederic Lefebvre has been appointed Vice President, Marketing, Regional Airlines at Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC). The company also announced that after 35+ years with P&WC, Richard Dussault retired this past January as Vice President, Marketing, Regional Airlines and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). P&WC is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
In his new position, Lefebvre will lead product marketing and sales activities as well as aftermarket support services dedicated to existing and new programs as well as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers. In previous assignments, he led technology development at P&WC and managed engineering operations at the company’s affiliate in Rzeszów, Poland.
Lefebvre holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in aerospace from Montreal’s École Polytechnique, and additionally holds a master’s in business administration (MBA) from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business. He is attending the Singapore Airshow and is available for media interviews.
APU and Customer Service Operations Leadership
Marty Kessell, currently Vice President and General Manager of Pratt & Whitney Aero Power, will lead the completion of the APU transition from Pratt & Whitney Aero Power to P&WC as previously announced. Kessell, a 24-year career veteran of United Technologies Corp. (UTC), will also lead the sales, marketing and aftermarket support for APUs. He will be responsible for all strategic, operational and customer activities for the full range of commercial APUs. He was previously Vice President and General Manager of Pratt & Whitney Aero Power based in San Diego, California and Rzeszów, Poland.
Additionally, Michel Toutant joined P&WC as Vice President, Operations, Customer Service in October 2015. He will manage the company’s global maintenance network and also be responsible for P&WC’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) network. Toutant brings to P&WC more than 20 years of senior management experience in the aerospace, energy and marine industries with North American and European organizations such as ABB and Rolls-Royce. He studied mechanical engineering at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. He continued his studies at the Université Laval, where he received a master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
