The PW210 also incorporates a dual channel, full-authority digital engine control (FADEC) system with state of the art diagnostics capability.
The first model, the PW210S, was selected to power the new Sikorsky S-76D helicopter, targeting corporate, offshore oil, hospital, airline and government operators around the world. Aircraft certification is scheduled for the last quarter of 2009.
