Walter Di Bartolomeo was named Vice President, Engineering, Pratt & Whitney Canada, in 2006.
Mr. Di Bartolomeo has been with P&WC for more than 25 years. He began his career in 1985 as an aerodynamicist, assuming roles of increasing responsibility in Engineering. He gained broad experience in the areas of aerodynamics, ice protection, project engineering, nacelle design, accessories and mechanical systems integration.
Mr. Di Bartolomeo earned a bachelor’s and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
Mr. Di Bartolomeo serves on the board of directors of the Global Aerospace Centre for Icing and Environmental Research inc. (GLACIER) as well as the board of directors of the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Québec (CRIAQ). He sits on advisory boards of the NRC’s Institute for Aerospace Research and McGill’s Institute for Aerospace Engineering.
