Maria Valerio

Maria Valerio was named Vice President, Operations, Customer Service, in March 2010.

Ms. Valerio began her career at Pratt & Whitney Canada in 1987 as a planner and subsequently assumed positions of increasing responsibility within Operations, specifically in process control, continuous improvement, quality functions, and the manufacture of turbines, compressors, blades, combustion liners and gas generators. She was appointed General Manager, Campus 1, in 2005 and Director, Canadian Manufacturing, in September 2006. In March 2009, she was named Director, Strategic Cost Reduction, responsible for strategic leadership in the development of cost-reduction initiatives to support the company’s growth and financial goals.

Maria holds an MBA from Queen’s University, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Concordia University.
