Kevin P. Smith was named Vice President, Human Resources, Pratt & Whitney Canada in 2006.

Before joining Pratt & Whitney Canada, Mr. Smith spent over 20 years in various human resources and labour relations related positions at Canada Post Corporation, Irving Oil Limited, Avenor Inc., GATX Rail Canada, Air Canada and National Bank of Canada. In 2005, he returned to Air Canada as vice president of Labour Relations.

Mr. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations with an honours degree in economics from McGill University in 1981.

Mr. Smith is a member of the Ordre des CRHA et CRIA du Québec for certified human resources professionals and certified industrial relations counselors and a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario.
