Aerodynamic-Thermodynamic Engineer
Are you looking for an opportunity to be a driving force behind the development of high performance and greener aircraft engines? As a P&WC Aerodynamic-Thermodynamic Engineer, you will perform propulsion cycle analyses, make engine performance predictions through computer simulations, and support the resolution of system level issues. You will also assess the feasibility of new concepts and support preliminary design studies. In addition, you will support development and flight test programs, as well as production and product entry-into-service for a variety of power plants.

Control System/Software Design Engineer
As a P&WC Controls Engineer, you will develop system level requirements for engine controls. During the engine/ aircraft concept phase, you will work with aircraft manufacturers to develop control system functionality. You will work with an integrated product team to match control system functionality against the engine requirements. You will understand powerplant dynamics, and DO-178B process as you prepare the evidence to support the engine type certificate. In the development of the engine FADEC software you will design control loops, write requirements for embedded control software and develop software using model-based design. You will also work closely with suppliers to verify software, and review data for control system tests performed on simulations, engine and aircraft. In addition to demonstrated technical expertise, it is important that you are a good communicator, work well in a team, have a strong customer focus and solid analytical skills.

Design Engineer
Are you looking for an opportunity to play a central role in the design of the next generation of quality and high performance aircraft engine modules? You will support the supply chain as a specialist in design and perform thorough engineering evaluations of materials. You will also be responsible for design modifications that will resolve produceability challenges and participate or lead team efforts and interact with specialists in other units to design, improve and approve engine components.

Development Engineer
Are you interested in playing an instrumental role in planning and coordinating activities associated with development testing of aircraft engines and components? You will help design modifications to engines and components to achieve test requirements and define and coordinate the procurement of engine hardware and specialized equipment for tests. You will also support technical investigations of field and operation issues. An excellent team player who is adaptable, self-motivated and a strong communicator, you will also train and mentor peers.

Electrical Engineer
Are you interested in designing and implementing the latest in electrical or data acquisition systems required to test aircraft engines and their components? As an electrical engineer in our Test Facilities Engineering multidisciplinary group you would be involved in providing and implementing technical solutions to meet production, research and new development engine test requirements. You could also be involved in major infrastructure projects to build complete test stands for new engine programs. You could be involved in many sub-disciplines, electrical/PLC applications, automation applications, engine controls interfaces and instrumentation/data acquisition applications. We are looking for excellent team players who are adaptable, and are self-motivated.

Manufacturing Engineer
Would you like to drive world-class innovations in manufacturing processes, methods and technologies to help develop and produce aircraft engines at an optimal cost? Working in a highly motivated team, you’ll be responsible for challenging product definitions to ensure that engines can be produced as designed. You will also validate and recommend changes in manufacturing methods, operations and equipment to increase efficiencies. In addition, you will strive to improve manufacturing capabilities in collaboration with universities and research centres around the world.

Material & Structural Engineer
Would you like to work with integrated product teams on all stages of an aircraft engine project, from design to production, and play a central role in the design and production of quality and high performance aircraft engines and components? As a P&WC Material and Structural Engineer, you will plan and execute structural/stress, thermal and lifting analysis of components and systems designs and optimize quality using advanced 3D analysis tools. You’ll also help determine test objectives on rig/test cell hardware and participate in generic research programs to improve component life and durability.

Project Engineer
Do you want to play a central role in the design and development of leading edge aircraft engines? You’ll coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of professionals and lead all project phases, including planning, definition, preliminary and final design, validation and implementation. You’ll solve complex problems and effectively manage risks. You’ll also prepare and make presentations to senior management and liaise on a regular basis with external stakeholders, including original equipment manufacturers. P&WC Project Engineers have regional and international travel opportunities.

Software Engineer
Would you like to leverage your software, modelling and simulation skills to truly make a difference in the design and development of the world’s most advanced aircraft engines and components? As a P&WC Software Engineer, you will write high and low level software requirements for embedded control software and develop code for model-based design. You will also work closely with suppliers to verify software and review data for control system tests performed on bench, engine and aircraft. Technician / Development Engineering - Engine Assembly
Are you looking for an opportunity to play a central role in supporting the development testing of the next generation of high performance aircraft engines and components? We are currently seeking qualified applicants to ensure a strong pipeline of future talent in the engine assembly discipline.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the hardware configuration of engines, defining hardware modifications to meet test requirements, writing assembly instructions to build a complete engine, and have the responsibility to document discrepancies found on hardware, tooling or assembly instructions during the process.

Technician / Development Engineering – Instrumentation
Are you looking for an opportunity to play a central role in supporting the development testing of the next generation of high performance aircraft engines and components? We are currently seeking qualified applicants to ensure a strong pipeline of future talent in the following disciplines: Hardware instrumentation (Thermocouples, Strain Gages, etc), Test Data Support and Recording (signal conditioning, DSP, calibration).

As a hardware instrumentation technician, you will be responsible for modifying aircraft engine components (general machining) into instruments for development testing. Modifications include thermocouples, pressure lines, and strain gages. As a Test Data Recording technician, you will be responsible for the set-up, calibration, and recording of special instrumentation parameters (Strain gages, pressure transducers) using Digital Signal Processing systems (DSP).

Technician / Product Definition and Data Management
Are you looking for an opportunity to play a central role in the definition of the next generation of high performance aircraft engines and components? We are currently seeking qualified applicants to ensure a strong pipeline of future talent in the following disciplines: Detail Design, Engine & Powerplant Integration, Product Weight Analysis and Configuration Management.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for generating detailed engineering drawings, 3D models and layouts using computer aided drafting technology including weight analysis. You will maintain configuration control of new and existing engine and powerplant definitions. You will also be responsible for integrating product definition data from suppliers and partners within a dynamic and interactive environment.
