Alain Rondeau was named Vice President, Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Pratt & Whitney Canada in 1997.

Before joining P&WC, Mr. Rondeau practised corporate and commercial law with the firm of Byers Casgrain (now Fraser Milner Casgrain), where he was a Partner and Head of the Information and Technology Law Group. He was recognized by Lexpert as being one of the leading practitioners in his field in Quebec.

Mr. Rondeau earned a civil law degree (LL.L.) in 1981 and a common law degree (LL.B.) in 1982, both from the University of Ottawa. He also obtained a certificate in finance from Queen's School of Business in 1999 and completed the Senior Executive Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration in 2001.

Mr. Rondeau is a member of the Quebec Bar and of the Canadian, American and International Bar Associations.
