Akhil Bhandari was named Chief Information Officer – Pratt & Whitney Canada in 2006.

Before joining Pratt & Whitney Canada, Mr. Bhandari spent over 18 years in a variety of senior information technology positions, including at J.D. Irving and CCL Industries.

Mr. Bhandari earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kurukshetra University in India in 1971 and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business in 1988.

Mr. Bhandari is a member of the Working Council of Chief Information Officers, the Conference Board of Canada and the Chief Information Officers Advisory Council, RBC Technology Ventures Fund.
